Description
BWY Midlands region annual celebration. A full day of yoga with a variety of sessions throughout the day to enable you to tailor the event to your own taste! A great chance to connect with other local teachers and yoga enthusiasts.
We are proud to say all our tutors this year are from within the Midlands region and practice or teach locally.
Workshop enrollment will be available on arrival so you can select which of the morning and afternoon sessions you wish to attend.
Morning workshops:
1) Tabitha Wright of Shine with Tabitha studio, Belper - Yoga, the Elements and Me - Join Tabitha to connect to nature and the seasons.
2) Carolyn Clarke of Jasmine Trust yoga, Retford - Qualitative v quantatative practice; What does quality mean? How do the body and mind translate it in to experience.
3) Sara Reed of Outside the Cave, Edwinstowe - 'Stretching Your Stress Away' - learn how releasing, stretching and toning the Psoas muscle can improve posture, back problems and help us to feel more grounded and relaxed
These sessions will be repeated so attendees have two opportunities to join each one.
Afternoon workshops:
1) Meryl Winby of Sattva Hatha Yoga - Letting Go - pranayama, vinyasa and meditation
2) Sally Kennedy of Sally K Therapy, Bolsover - Shinrin Yoku (Forest Bathing) Mindful walk through the legendary Sherwood Forest to see the Major Oak tree and other old 'Giants'
3) Perry Lewis of Nectar Yoga - Liquid Vinyasa – A Moving Meditation. Another in Perry’s series of moving meditations aiming to integrate asana, movement and mindfulness into a truly harmonious experience.
Closing workshop:
Nic Moy will close the event with a sound immersion with Himalayan singing bowls.
Breakfast will be available from 9.15am, and we'll have a veg / vegan lunch together.

Yoga Mat and Blanket. Please bring your own additional props (if required). Breakfast, lunch and drinks are provided.
