NOTICE OF BWY SCOTLAND ELECTON MEETING

Notice is hereby given that the Election Meeting (“EM”) of the BWY Scotland will be held at 15:30 on 15 May 2026 at electronically via this link.

At the meeting, where nominations for each of the following roles will be communicated, you will be asked to raise any objections for sole nominations to roles, or vote for your preferred nomination where multiple nominations have been received, by a simple show of hands.

Nomination process

Any nominations for roles must be received by the Officer at least ten days prior to the EM.

Please refer to the nomination application form included with this Notice.

Voting procedure

1.     The Chair of the meeting will be the incumbent Officer or another incumbent member of the Committee.

2.     Each of the above roles will be announced in turn and members present will be asked to either show objections or vote by a show of hands.

3.     If any role has more than one nomination then each nominee will be invited to speak for up to a maximum of five minutes; nominees will be notified prior to the meeting if there are multiple candidates for the post for which they have nominated themselves. The candidates will be announced in turn with a show of hands being counted for each candidate (at the discretion of the Chair).

4.     Results will be by a majority of one or more.
