Description
Find out more about the knee joint and join the well respected Gary Carter for this exceptional class.
The knee is the largest joint in the body and one of the most complex and so it is vitally important that we understand how to keep the joint safe and healthy when we practice yoga or if we teach being sensitive to students' needs. Gary brings over 40 years’ experience in anatomical study and bodywork practices, and his dissection research has made him one of the current leaders in fascial study. His teaching will provide you with insight on how the body moves in yoga postures and therefore also in our daily lives.
This session will suit both teachers and students who want more in depth knowledge of how to approach postures. Join us at the Costessey Centre near Norwich, a beautiful, calming space for yoga and we are pleased to welcome Gary back in person . Book early to secure a place as Gary's sessions sell out fast!
Gary has has lectured extensively on the anatomy of Yoga in the UK, Europe and America. He is the founder of the Natural Bodies Centre in Brighton, dedicated to the work and approach of Vanda Scarivelli, which was not so much about executing postures but cultivating the conditions that allow the body's natural intelligence to awaken.
