Training Introduction
To equip you both professionally and practically to teach yoga asanas, breathing practices, pranayama, relaxation, concentration and meditation to students with a wide range of capacities, capabilities and experiences.
The Ofqual-regulated qualification will equip you with an underlying knowledge and understanding of Yoga principles and philosophy, so that you are in a position to share Yoga safely and effectively with others. You will also significantly enhance your own practice, understanding and experience of all things Yoga and are expected to deepen this through personal practice and reflection.
The course will allow you to spend 3-years with like minded people with the same passion for Yoga as you.
This course will not only prepare you to begin teaching but will also then support you closely in the early stages of your teaching career. Initially small practices offered to your peers, moving up to observed teaching practices in your community and when you feel ready, establishing your own classes in your community. Teaching your peers will start within the first 6 months of the course. Starting to teach in your community can begin as soon as you and your tutor agree that you are ready.
