Training Introduction
The BWY Foundation Course offers an exciting opportunity for students to deepen their knowledge and experience of yoga. It aims to help students develop a confident, consistent home practice and offers an excellent preparation for students who plan to join the Yoga Wise Teacher Training Course or other BWY Diploma Course.
Whether you are looking to extend your knowledge of yoga philosophy and practice to enrich your personal yoga journey or to take the necessary step towards yoga teacher training, this is the course for you.
How the Training Works
This 60 hour course is designed to explore yoga in more depth than you could in your weekly class. It includes practical and theoretical work on the eight limbs of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras such as asana (postures), pranayama (breath control), concentration, and meditation as well as topics such as the history of yoga, and the different paths and schools of yoga. Students explore all aspects of yoga in a fun and friendly environment.
The course is for everyone who would like to develop their knowledge and experience of yoga further.
