Training Introduction
The aim of the Certificate Course is to educate and enable learners, both professionally and practically, to teach yoga asanas, breathing practices and relaxation to clients that have a wide variety of capacities, capabilities and experiences. The course will equip students with an underlying knowledge and understanding of yoga principles and philosophy but students are also expected to continue to deepen their understanding and knowledge through personal practice and reflection. The BWYQ Level 4 Certificate in Yoga Teaching (RQF) can be studied as a progression route on to the Level 4 Diploma in Yoga Teaching (RQF).
How the Training Works
The course is delivered over 12-13 months from May 2026 to June 2027.
- An induction day in May 2026
- Monthly in person meetings at the studio on a Saturday which run from 0945-1745
- Monthly zoom meetings on a Thursday evening 1845-2015
- A retreat weekend in September 2026
The course has a creative and solid approach to all things yoga. Enabling you to become an excellent teacher of yoga.
