The BWY 300 hour Ofqual level 4 Certificate Course provides a thorough grounding in the practice and theory of Yoga and will prepare you fully to begin a career in teaching Yoga.  The Certificate Course will run over 13 months 50:50 Face -to- Face /Online.  It is a a comprehensive course that covers the theory, practice, ethical and business side of becoming a Yoga Teacher as well as underpinning Yogic philosophy and how to modify to ensure the your teaching is accessible to all. 

Roberta Jesson is an experienced Yoga Teacher (21 years) and teacher trainer (9 years) who has taught over 50 people to become professional Yoga instructors.  She is also an IQA and the teacher training officer for the BWY.  She has a particular interest in anatomy and physiology, the breath and the philosophy of Yoga.  She runs regular BWY CPD events teaching detailed anatomy workshops, classes online/ face to face as well as yearly retreats to Greece. 

The BWY Certificate Course is run at the beautiful Vishuddha Yoga Centre, 16 East Street, Oxford OX2 0AU in central Oxford (with accessible bus, train routes and parking nearby) and online.  There will be an online Introductory Day held on the 26th April 2026 which will give you an insight into the content of the course and allow you time to reflect on whether the course is suitable for you? This will be followed by an Induction Day on the 17th May 2026 which is also the start of the course.
