Description

One day you may be faced with an emergency situation and you will need to feel confident in how you manage it.

Colin is well known to Cambridge yoga teachers and the wider region and we are delighted to host him at this comfortable venue, with parking and tea making facilities available.  Not only is Colin a very experienced and engaging EFAW tutor, he is also a longtime yoga teacher and worked with a wide range of professionals. This means that the course is sutiable for anyone who teaches classes whether that is in yoga or other activities. It's a BWY event but open to all teachers needing to refresh their vital skills and know how!

Students receive a recognised certificate at the end of succesfully completing the training and which is emailed to you.

Please note the 8.45 am start and  the following

1)  The course starts at 9 am to 4 pm. There will be two 30 minute breaks.
2)  Please arrive by 8.45 am for a Photo ID check.
3) Candidates that arrive after the course starts may not be permitted to participate in the course - so plan the journey and allow for some extra travel time.
4) Candidates must bring a form of Photo ID such as a passport or drivers licence. Bank cards or bus passes are not necessarily acceptable. Without the relevant ID a certificate cannot be issued.

Additional Information

It is advisable that students wear comfortable clothes, which are practical for various role-play situations. For those with long hair, a hair-band will help when practicing techniques. All students should be in full health on the days of the course as there may be some practical work involved.

Don't forget that Emergency First Aid at Work events count towards your BWY CPD total at 7.5 points.
