Description

The purpose of this session is to invite participants to explore their understanding of the Chakra system and its use, relevance and wisdom for every day living. This will also be an invitation to debunk myths and mis-information that serve to inflate and confuse, rather than stabilise, a sense of self.

This will be a talk and facilitation of discussion and self-reflection using Tantra philosophical concepts and Humanistic self-concept frameworks. It will be an experiential practice through visualisation, mantra practice and meditation.

This session will be approximately 50% talk and discussion and 50% practice.

About Lina

I was born into an Ancestral Yoga family; my father was a Brahmin Tantric and my mother a Brahmin Vedantin. I was born into two richly infused Yoga lineages. It is in my DNA.

In 1998, I had a calling at 29 years old to act on what I wanted to do as a child but not allowed to because I was a woman. My decision involved a major career and life change (prompted by a significant waking up process within myself) - and so Praxis Yoga was born and continued for 25 years.

I started my training with the BWY in 1999, with Fay Beddowes (Arffya Yoga) in Clyro, Wales.
