Description

About the session

Sounds play a powerful role in formatting the vibratory nature of our being. Mantra-sādhanā or a dedicated practice of mantras, can serve as an impactful tool for self-transformation. This session will help participants delve into the heart of the mantra tradition in an experiential manner to create an authentic appreciation of the impact of the world of sounds in shaping our inner and outer worlds.

Anuradha describes this session as an invitation to all to be childlike in an attempt to discover the power and beauty of sounds in our lives and hopes that by understanding that we are transmitters and receivers of ‘sounds’, the practice of mantras can make a world of difference in who we become.

The session will be approximately half talk and half practice.

About Anuradha

I grew up in the spiritual community of the Sri Aurobindo Ashram in Puducherry, India, practising the Integral Yoga Philosophy. My further studies in Sanskrit only deepened my experience and understanding of the scope of yogic traditions. But as they say ‘the taste of the pudding is in the eating’, the direct insights received during various practices inspire me to keep exploring new horizons and nuances of human consciousness.
