Description

Many of us have experienced the benefits of a good yoga practice.  This day is designed to deepen our understanding of this transformation towards physical healing and also our ability to harness this process.  We shall do this by investigating Nyasa, the practice of moving our consciousness into particular areas of the body.  This is done in conjunction with asana, pranayama and visualisation.

This day takes us through the process of release in body and mind in a safe way, as and when we are ready to do so. These skills help  us to move towards physical enlightenment.

The day is suitable for both yoga practitioners and teachers. For BWY teachers the event attracts 7.5 CPD points.

The schedule for the day is:

Welcome and introduction
Comprehensive warm-up practice with conscious breathing
Pranayama techniques and asanas
Identifying areas of trauma and practice basic release work
LUNCH
Q&A, discussion, f/b
Practice deeper release work with partner
Relaxation

The day is suitable for yoga practitioners and teachers.

Prohibition/Precautions for participants would be un-medicated high blood pressure.
