Description
Dear Wonderful Fellow Yoginis and Yogis teachers, Student teachers and Teaching friends come join a gathering of like minds. Feel free to invite other teachers from all schools of yoga to join this new yoga teacher circle for Milton Keynes.
A welcomed opportunity to meet up and share some time together in meditation and then cuppa and discussion, perhaps on a specific topic that arises during the meet up.
Date: Saturday 14 March 2026
Arrive from 1:45 pm for 2 pm start with Welcome Chat from BWY South region member
Location: Cross and Stable Church, Downs Barn, MK14 7RZ
2.15 pm Pranayama & Meditation Circle
3.00 pm Cuppa and Chat
3.45-4pm Head home
In recent teacher meets ups, teachers have offered to lead some pranayama or meditation and a final rest in Savasana, therefore do feel free to bring and share with group a reading/poem/music lines or quote, lead chant or set intention, as time permits.
Sometimes teachers of many disciplines can feel a little isolated and so we thought a Buckinghamshire meet up in Milton Keynes was long over due where we might share our journey and our experiences, discuss any gripes and joys of teaching that may well be a welcome respite.
The Hall is inside the Cross and Stable Church in a residential neighbourhood called Downs Barn.
Yoga classes already take place in this hall and it is said to have a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.
Directions: MK14 7RZ. The church is positioned in the residential grid square of Downs Barn 2 miles from the city centre shops. Please refer to event information for more travel details. On the maps you will find it is between 2 dual carriage ways, being the H4 Dansteed Way and parellel the H5 Portway. Because it is off a dual carriage way you drive either North on the V9 Overstreet and first left turn onto Downs Barn Boulvard, First left into Saddlers Place and the Church is on your left. If you are coming from the North going south down the V9 dual carriage then drive south along the V9 Overstreet and take the last exit off the N Overgate roundabout and come back up the carriage way to make the left down Downs Barn Boulvard. There is an option to make a right turn across the dual carriage way but sometimes easy to go to the next roundabout and come back on yourself.
Parking: There are 25 car parking spaces in the lower car park. The top turning circle should be kept free from parked vehicles to allow access for emergency vehicles.
Cost: The contribution of £5 on the day will go towards the hall hire, hall facililites and replenish refreshments offered during the meet up.
If you prefer do bring your own mug and snacks but also drinks and snacks will be provided.
The intention is to offer similar sessions across our counties, do get in touch if you would like to help get one set up, maybe later in the year as something to look forward to?
Om Shanti
Dave, Hazel, Joanna and Lara
