Description

An asana-based practice exploring actions, sequences and stages that will take us towards Natarajasana - the Dancer's Pose. Many find the pose challenging but it is an excellent pose for a deep backbend, opening the heart and strengthening the legs. It enhances strength, balance and focus and is therefore an important part of our practice.  The pose is named after the Hindu god Shiva Nataraja, King of the Dance who finds bliss in the midst of destruction. Like its namesake the pose embodies finding steady calm within.

Zoe will lead us through the pose and with a safe, accessible approach, we explore the varied elements of this pose and see where this may take us.

With over 40 years of yoga practice, Zoe is a Diploma Course Teacher and regular with the British Wheel of Yoga with an outlook that is based on a fundamental approach of building strength, both in body and in mind, as a cornerstone of practice so that all poses become possible
